One Step Closer...

The Meeper Mobile is officially off the road. Sort of... It is my emergency, no more than a 5 minute drive vehicle. The battery started losing it's charge last night, so I figured, hell with it... I'll park it until the weather warms a bit.

Nathan, the sweetheart that he is, bought me some groceries the other day. Well, I gave him $50 (that I now owe to Lucky 13), and he covered the other $15.

I took today off again. Not so much as a mental health day (though it's getting close...), but as a lets-play-ketchup day. I'm so far behind in Psych of Ed Chapters it isn't funny... but at the same time, it wouldn't be a problem if I didn't know that the next test comes mainly out of the book. Blarg.

I have to do some baking tonight, which will be somewhat cathartic, I hope. Brownies and the like for the SoS bakesale tomorrow, which will be held whether CUPE strikes or not.

Nathan and I had some ...involved talks this "weekend" (it didn't feel much like a weekend), so I'm feeling both drained and physically heavy right now. Almost like overwhelmed, but without the panic, and with more pain between the shoulder blades. I want to go lie down, but that was one of the things we discussed: he's angry that I spend so much of my time sleeping in, and that I spend the majority of my time in bed, or at least in my room. He doesn't get that that's part of who I am. I can't be the lone ranger, always on the move type of person he is.

It just gets frustrating sometimes, that's all.

Epic Bad Luck

Yeah, so I put the car in the ditch.

I'm fine, and the car came out of it with a crack in the frontend, but hell, talk about your run of bad luck. Friggin black ice. But, at least the tow out of the ditch (the snow was up to my thigh) was free, thanks to the good people at CAA, and I got all my shopping done, with the exception of a few things for people up north, but that can be gotten once I get through the holidays and prepare to head back to hell...

Well, it's not that bad. Nathan gave me a bit of a heads up: Aparently, Mike and Josh are upset that I haven't been keeping up my end of the housework. Understandable. I would be too. Honestly, I just couldn't keep up. I let things (personal, academic and otherwise) get too built up, and they all collapsed on me. I'm hoping next term, I can make a new, more focused start, both at professionally and personally. I mean, my grades are lagging, I've gained 15 pounds or more, I have no energy left, and my moods have been swinging like mad. Obviously there is more than one thing that needs to be fixed.

Well, I'm off to bed. Tomorrow I have to work on some of that house-work type stuff, since I'm confined to the house: Mom's terrified to let me get in a car.

6 more sleeps!

Borken

Ok, so my computer's been busted for the past 2 weeks. It appears that the fan was clogged with Sand. Great. So, I'm on mom's work computer right now, doing a quick update. I thought people might start to miss me.

First of all, my plans to venture North for the Canada Day weekend have been Kaibashed. Mike's getting the windows and insulation done that weekend. Kinda sucks, but I"m trying to plan another weekend when I can head up, even if it's the week before I move in. I think I've got the colours picked, and It shouldn't take too long, if I get all my friends out for a pizza/beer/painting spree... *nudge, nudge*.

There's not really been a whole lot going on recently. Work, lots of work and overtime. I've made a nice chunk of coin, and I've built up a nice pocket for income tax season. And, I got to be a caser-operator, which, while it doesn't mean more real responsablilties except a few checkmarks, meant a nice raise from $10.38 to $11.75! And, in 400 more hours of work, I'll be eligable for a raise up to $10.6o-something. Soon, pretty nickles, soon you will be mine!!

I got the custom plates for my car: The MeeperMobile will soon be road-ready! I'm happy with the way the plates are lookin. And this whole "having a car" thing has given me and dad something to "bond" over. I'm not sure if that's a good thing. Dad and I are usually better with a fence between us.

Really, that's pretty much it. Dyed my hair again. Tattoo's still all purty. Meds are good. Michael Jackson's innocent... Well, I guess things can't be perfect.

More soon.
