Well, I'll be damned...

So, I finally gave in, and after a good 10 years of hemming and hawing, I broke down.

I bought the ProActiv Solution kit. Yes, the one from the infomercials.

And It works. who'da thought? Seriously, I thought for sure, knowing my luck, that I'd be either covered in red infected scales or red infected bumps by now. But no, my face is actually reasonably clear. If it wasn't for the Cold Sore from Hell, I probably wouldn't need much more than mascara and lipgloss to be out the door (not that I wear much more than that now...) So... I'm shocked and awed.

And, yeah, I'm going to try the bodywash. What the hell...

Anyways, so work has picked up like mad-fish at the Red Cross. I have a million and one things to do, and not enough time to do it in. And it feels like I have one manager begging me to increase our numbers, and another questioning my every move...but at least the numbers are still up. I have a bit more work to do tomorrow to ensure that, but all should be good. I'm still thinking worst-case-scenario and putting plans together for Don for September, just in case... but then I realize how close September is, and how fast things have gone, and I don't know what the hell to do, you know? Feels like running in circles.

Anyways, Michael's decided that he's not going back to school in the fall. Have I mentioned this already? Can't remember. I feel bad that he's not getting to do what he really wants to do, but I'm proud of him too, for helping his dad and his family. And like I said to him, and like we all know, Theatre's probably not going anywhere in the next few years. I know it hasn't up here. ;)

Canadian Tire was totally bogus today. Not even cool. I was there for an hour and a half, talked to almost everyone who came through the door, and I got 3 aps. Total.. After an hour and a half, I usually have at least 5-6. And it was thunderstorming, so rather than wait an hour to see if people crawled out of their protective shells, I decided to just cut my losses. It's frustrating, you know? Because even if I work hard, there are still days like this where it doesn't pay. And then there are days like today, where you realize that when you do work really hard and pull rediculous numbers at grand openings, they still take off $254 in frickin taxes. BOOOO!!

Anyways, I'm finished my cup of tea (I've been drinking a lot more tea in the last few days), so I'm off to lie in bed and thing of pretty things and warm bodies... What? Sorrelle spends nights in the livingroom window instead of curled up by me anymore. What were you thinking?

Perv. ;)

Nope, you hadn't mentioned my decision to stay, yet. =] It'll give me a chance to practice my sketching, I suppose... just need to work on that procrastination bit. *cuddles* Love you! It's late, game night ended early cause Ken only got 2 hours sleep due to insomnia. I'm tired myself, so it's off to bed soon.

I'm glad the ProActive is working for you. I know how much of a struggle it's been to get your skin to behave itself, and hopefully this stuff will finally beat it into submission! Gently. ;) As for the cold sore, I do feel you pain. Kinda. After I had my wisdom teeth out, I developed the canker sore from hell. So a little like what you had, but on the inside. I have a scar. Srsly. So I'm sending you good and healing thoughts. <3
