to be a mole...

So, couple of things. One bad, one not bad at all.

Bad: Last night. I came home SO angry I couldn't even sleep. All because of one simple phrase: "You know you like it". UGH. I hate that phrase. That phrase is NOT justification for touching me in an inappropriate mannor, even if you have in the past and I was ok with it. It is not justification for throwing pennies or ice down my shirt. Yes, I have big breasts. That does not mean that you get to make them your own personal basketball net. That phrase is not justification for ignoring the word NO in any circumstance. And, Adam, you were right, if I weren't sick, I would have been probably having more fun with it, but that doesn't mean that I have to like it now.

GAH! Broke university/college sudents revert to 10 year olds so quickly...

Now, the GOOD: I looked at an apartment today. I like! There are a couple of issues though:
1) low cieling. Like, LOW cieling. No Yoga in that apartment... but it's not like I do yoga anyways... And no stretching in the bathroom... Blowdrying my hair might be an adventure.
2)the bedroom and the livingroom are the same room. I've never really been a fan of that. but that's nothing that some strategic mosquito netting couldn't fix and make look pretty.
3) No cat. I don't think there would be room for one. But that's ok... I'll just have to find other things to entertain me.

It was great otherwise! Big enough for just me, the kitchen was adorable... it's above-ground enough that there were windows, it's just on the other side of the overpass, which is about a 20 minute drive from the college (10 to where I am now), and the landlords are increadably nice... They know Todd's parents quite well, actually, and they seem to be good people. She also said that I'm pretty much what she wanted in a tenant, which is pretty cool! I know she was probably just saying that to make a sale, but still...

There is parking for the Meepermobile, and the entrance is seperate, I can look out the window and see the street, and there's a walk-in closet with shelves and such. I wouldn't need a dresser at all... I might even see about ripping the door off and having it as open space, too! And she's going to let me paint! That could be fun! Something in a sea-side blue/green with black trim? Or maybe pull something out of the carpet? She said as long as it's not bright orange, or something wild like that, things should be ok!

$400/month, heat/hydro included, little fridge, stove, no furniture, no laundry, no lease.

The other apartment was just too small... I mean, in that one, the kitchen, the bedroom and the living room were all in the same room... I needed a little division, you know? So, that's 2, with one definate possibility. Saturday I'm going to see the next one. It's $495/month, heat/hydro/cable included, appliances, parking, no laundry,
lease to June '08. That one's going to be a bit more of a challenge, but that's ok! We'll see how it goes.

And now... I don't know. I have tonight off, which I"m going to use to run lines, I think. I should finish that Soc Assignment too...But I'm just in too good a mood for that!

Well hey, at least you're in a good mood. And good luck on the continuing apartment hunt.
