Some People...

This was posted as a comment on my post "give up and go away" by the President of SoS of Nusu and Csrc...

I understand that this is your personal blog, however if you have an issue with me or SOS i would appreciate it if you talked to ME about it so that we can attempt to resolve it. It was known since September that we were aiming for 10 shows so 7 is a break! and i'd really like to know why i'm being followed by a Pied Piper if i have no idea what i am doing.... please let me know.

Let's start with the obvious: YES, this is my PERSONAL Blog. This is my VENTING space. That post was an OBVIOUS vent. I was frustrated about a lot of things, and SoS just happened to be the thing pissing me off most at that moment. I'm sorry it worked out that way, but...

I don't have an issue with you, personally. I have an issue with the way the club is run. It is EXACTLY the same issue I had last year. EXACTLY the same unresolvable issue that makes SoS what it is. Most people have just learned to tune me out when I get off on that rant.

Yes, we were aiming for 10 shows. That's great, and I'd be cool with that. We were NOT, however, aiming for over 500 hours of rehersal time for a 40 minute play. We were NOT aiming to take this bloody circus on the road. And we were CERTAINLY NOT aiming to extend the Wierd Kid INTO THE GOD DAMNED SCHOOL YEAR. I was under the impression that, because the club is extracurricular, we would only have to skip classes on a voluntary basis. The students at Canadore who signed up for this show knew from SEPTEMBER that they would be missing a week of classes. I, however, did not know IN SEPTEMBER that I would be missing class for this.

And by the way, hun, I highly, highly doubt that the school boards can access our password protected forum, nor would they want to. Taking down my post seemed just an eensy weensy bit power trippy, if you ask me.

And it's not that you don't know what you're doing... that was more directed at the fact that you don't know much about Blood Relations, and the VP doesn't know much about Wierd Kid, which is fine, though I thought exec should be keeping eachother informed, but what ever... it was just that when the VP told me that she didn't know what was going on with the Wierd Kid, she told me: "... right now, I know about as much as you know, which is pretty much what Steve knows..." Hence, Pied Piper.

So, darlin, the next time you have an issue with me, why not come to me privatly about it, instead of ANONYMOUSLY posting it on my PUBLIC, PERSONAL blog.

So, RELAX, DAMNIT.

...Other than that, money sucks, stress is high, I may yet kill someone and everything else is spiff!

It is your personal blog, and yes, you can write whatever you'd like in it. Your 'work' place should not stick his nose in your personal business. He was a hypocrite for even replying to your post.

Keep venting. :) Lacey, if it were me, I would be going to class... you're paying to be there for class, not for an extracurricular play. Get your money's worth.
