Happy Bits

So, I'm still excited about heading back to North Bay. For those of you who didn't know, I'm leaving London, Ducky as my navigator, on June 6th. I'll be starting at the NDHC on June 11th. My last Day EVER at Richardsons will be June 5th. LOVE THAT.

We're planning, listing and prepping. Cogeco has been called, and I got what should be a decent deal on a bundle phone/net/cable ($82/month). There's roumer of Midnight Margaritas. I love you all.

I've discovered some new things over the last few days, all of them pretty much music related, so I'm going to share them here, because I'm too tired to do anything else right now.

1) Tori Amos - Big Wheel. Go to YouTube and watch the video. Just make sure you're sitting down... it made me kinda dizzy the first time. The middle part's kinda... wierd (you'll know what I mean when you see it), but the rest has been stuck in my head for days.

2) Tori Amos - Caught a Lite Sneeze (Sessions @ West 54th). This is a live take of the first Tori song I ever heard. It's beautiful, and after doing a little research... well, let's just say Trent Reznor has learned his lesson. Though, I still don't understand why Courtney Love... Sketchy Redhead over Skanky Heroin addict any day.

3) Lily Allen - Alfie. Remember the episode of Angel where Angel gets turned into a puppet? Take that puppet, and make it a 15 year old angry pothead. I heart this song. For some reason, the circus like music and whispyness of the song makes me think of L-O-V-E... Maybe Gemmel and Jason will dance to this for me! I'd take it as a belated birthday present!

4) Auf Der Maur - Followed the Waves. Just the song... Haven't seen the video yet, though I should, as Melissa Auf Der Maur = hot. Some remember her from Hole. Others as D'Arcy's replacement in the Smashing Pumpkins. I remember "I'm gonna shuffle his deck clean".

5)KT Tunstall - Black Horse and the Cherry Tree (Live). You have to find the right version. The one I love is posted by kmfdm500. I watched this about 300 times in awe. now I want a bunch of tape recorders and Kazoos. I could do that.

6) Sarah Slean - Lucky Me. I forgot how much I loved this video. If someone could find me the vid for "Day One", I'd be over the moon.

Anyways, that's it for now. I'm out, happy viewing, and hopefully more tomorrow!
