How friggin depressing. In the approximate 10 minutes it takes for me to walk from here to placement, I was so soggy because of today's driving snow that my mascara had run down my face, and I all hope for straight hair was totally lost. Blarg on Snow.
So, yesterday was... interesting to say the least. The tenant inspections were a real eyeopener, in both good and bad ways.
The SoS constitution meeting.... holy crap. 5 hours of debating semantics and re-defining positions... But, it was cool. I'm no longer the VP Fundraising: I'm the VP Finance, which sounds a whole lot swankier, and gives me a fair chunk more responsibility. I deal with da monies, yo!!
Today was a mixed bag of emotional rollercoasters, paperwork, tenant and potential apartment inspections and more paperwork. Tomorrow looks to be more of the same.
I can't wait for Sunday. No offence to the people I'm going to be playing with on the weekend, but I'll need that day to re-group, sleep in, and start my presentation (20%!!!)
I've let certain things slip again though, and I need to get moving. I'm downloading this week's House and Criminal Minds, and by the time they're downloaded, I want to be able to just veg out and then sleep. I don't want to have anything else to do. I want to just crash, and hopefully get 8 hours tonight.
So, here's what I need to accomplish by the end of tonight
-Find my Rx so I can fill it tomorrow.
-fill out as much of my log sheet as I can
-Call my new Land Lady and assure her that I haven't forgotten about her
-I should probably start packing... I need to get at least some stuff moved.
It's not much, but it feels like a big chunk. I'm drooping as is. I think I might find something to munch on first, so that way I know I'll get at least one thing on the list done tonight.
